Head of School

Diane has been in education for over 30 years. Sixteen of those years were spent teaching at a Title 1 school. Diane was an Assistant Principal for three years before becoming the Principal at a Title 1 school. While serving as Principal at Walt Disney School, the school was recognized by the state for high growth. Diane then served as Principal at Northpoint. While serving as Principal at Northpoint, the school was recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School. Diane and a teacher represented the school in Washington, D.C. to receive the award on behalf of the entire school and community. It was an amazing experience for her team. She then moved 1300 miles to enjoy the outdoor life by the mountains and to take the Head of School position at Channing Hall.

Diane holds a bachelors degree in education, an.M.Ed., and certification in K-12 school leadership. Diane's training includes Title 1, High Ability, MTSS, Reading instruction, dyslexia, curriculum development and professional development, Special Education laws and practices, Positive School Wide Behavior Plans, along with many more. She believes as the educational leader she is also the lead learner. Diane has also presented at state level conferences. 

Diane has two children who mean the world to her, loves travel, rescue dogs, beaches and mountains. and being outdoors whenever she can. She has also volunteered at homeless shelters to help mothers attend training's to break the cycle of poverty.
